It is no secret that electronic resources of information become more in demand over time. This is conditioned by the processes of digitalization and globalization. Therefore, at the moment, web versions of daily newspapers are very popular.

From its founding until early in the Great Depression, the Journal rarely ventured beyond business and economic news. Then, however, it began to carry occasional feature articles on other subjects. When you enter the official website of the newspaper, you can immediately understand its orientation towards the economic component — (currency and stock indices, most of the headlines carry the economic context).

But as mentioned earlier, you can also find news of different content, such as fashion, science, literature, and even sports news. On the home page, users can also use the search option to find the information they are interested in, whether it is a particular event or topic.

Most of the news is available for reading to everyone, but the WALL STREET JOURNAL offers users to buy a subscription, which allows them to have unlimited access to WSJ.com across any device, to download and use WSJ mobile app, to get access to informative podcasts, featuring interviews with WSJ editors and notable influencers.

In my opinion, the WSJ website can be called attractive to readers for several reasons. First of all, the design of the site is made in a standard style, which does not make you long to look for certain tabs. The convenient location of news topics and the absence of annoying advertising make it even better. Secondly, just below the tabs with the topics covered by the newspaper, there are a column “Latest updates”, which allows you to be aware of the events that are happening right now! Last but not least, even though economic and political events are mostly covered, everyone can find news that interests him or her not only in text format but also in video and podcast section.
